4. Congress &Exhibition Activity
   RICC has for years been holding major international forums devoted to the fuel and energy complex, mining and metallurgical industry, telecommunications and high technology with the participation and support of top officials of the Russian Government , Federal Assembly, Russian Academy of Science, Trade and Industry Chamber, TISE (Individual Construction and Ecology Technology), different ministries and departments, and also of some influential international organizations including OPEC, International Energy Agency, EBRD, Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the CIS country members, CIS Inter- state Councils, foreign institutions of petroleum.
   
   Among the largest forums ever held by RICC there are an annual Russian Oil and Gas Week , an annual International Metals Week and an annual travel exhibition "Russian Tourism. Leisure and recreation. In CIS countries. " International forum " Youth, Sports. Tourism". To support the forums held in 2001-2004 a few orders were issued by the Russian Federation Government and Council of Federation. Over the years of its operation the company has been expanding and developing its economic and business ties contributing to developing mutually beneficial contacts between potential partners from Russian regions and foreign states. During this period more than 30 international and regional exhibitions, 40 scientific-practical conferences and seminars and 360 presentations were held. Based on the results of detailed discussions held within the framework of the said events a package of proposals was formed and forwarded to the Russian Government and State Duma. For example, using the results of the 1st International Metals Week there were prepared and put forward new recommendations aimed at improving activity and investment attractiveness of Russia's mining and metallurgical industry. As a result of consideration of the above recommendations the Russian Government has issued the instruction N BA-P5-13554 of 11.11.03 taking into account the proposals put forward by Week participants when implementing " A set of measures to be taken to develop Russia's metallurgical industry for a period through 2010.
   
   
5. ADVERTISING, INFORMATION, PUBLISHING AND DESIGN ACTIVITIES
   Within the framework of advertising-publishing activities the Center annually releases Oil and Gas Week Bulletins, Metals Week Bulletins, special newspaper issues, publishes collected reports by participants of congress or exhibition events held. Before the beginning of the forums there are published exhibitors' illustrated catalogues, invitation cards and other printing and souvenir products.
   The Center designs and maintains web-sites of the forums being held. When preparing events to be held the Center cooperates practically with of all industrial media of Russia as well as foreign news agencies. The RosKon Center renders design and decoration services: works out advertising product models for its customers, exclusive display stands, out-door ad and interior decoration means.
   
   
6. Translation Services
   The Center offers simultaneous translation services, if requested, by rendering services of a guide interpreter or tour guide as well as carries out written translation.
   
   
7. Legal Services
   The RICC offers consultancy services in preparing a package of agreements and other legal documentation including that for external economic activity. RICC specialists carry out a turn-key registration of Closed Joint Stock Companies and Joint Stock Companies, ltd., or other non-profit organizations, registration of amendments made to company foundation documents and replacement of OKONKH And OKVED codes. The Center's highly skilled specialists provide information and consultancy services in promoting quality control systems acceding to GOST R ISO9001-2001 requirements and GOST R ISO 14001-98 environment control systems.
