The International Conference "RUSSIA, ASIA AND AFRICA: 50 YEARS OF SOLIDARITY AND COOPERATION" devoted to the 50-ty anniversary of creating the Russian Society of Afro-Asian People's Solidarity and Cooperation (RSAAPSC) which include component Afro-Asian People's Organization unite more than 90 countries was held on November 28th in Moscow with the support of the Administration of the President of Russia, Federal Assembly of Russia, Government of Russia. 

V.V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, S.M. Mironov, Chairman of Federal Assembly of Russia, S.V. Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yu.A. Luzhkov, Mayor of Moscow and other heads of governmental regulatory bodies addressed greeting for participants of the conference.

Maydanov, Director of Department of International Cooperation of Ministry Natural Resources of Russia, Member of Intergovernmental Commission - Russia&SAR, Russia & Angola, Russia & Guinea, Russia & Namibia and other heads and representatives of national committees of states solidarity for Afro-Asia, major companies and banks, leading scientific and social organizations, and also ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary more than 30 countries of Asia & Africa to the Russian Federation took place in the work of conference.  

The economical and political aspects of increasing the role of RSAAPSC in providing sustainable development of the world economy as well as the practical mechanisms for stimulating economical, scientific, technical and informative cooperation of Russia, Asia and Africa was discussed within the framework of the Conference. 

The Grand Ceremony of award badge "The Star of Asia and Africa" and Medal "50 years of the RSAAPSC" of outstanding world leaders and founders of AAPSO became one of the key events of Conference. 

At the end of the Conference was signed the agreement about creation of the Center for Scientific, Technological, Industrial, Energy and Informative Cooperation with countries of Asia & Africa (the Center) with headquarters in Moscow . 

The participants of the conference decided to appeal to the Afro-Asia governments (members of AAPSO) with suggestion include in its Coordinating Committee Center there representatives. The first organization meeting will take place on March of 2007.
